Christian Ministry Outreach Leadership Rooted in Faith and Restoration

Christian ministry outreach

Bishop Koy Stewart

Senior Pastor of New Life Resurrection Center, a Spirit-led ministry rooted in the belief that everybody is somebody. With a strong calling to urban ministry and Christian ministry outreach, Bishop Koy has devoted decades to preaching, teaching, and living God’s Word while creating pathways for restoration, accountability, and transformation.

Under his leadership, New Life Resurrection Center has grown beyond traditional church services to include New Beginnings Transitional Housing Services, supporting individuals in recovery, women with children, and those returning from incarceration. His ministry also extends globally, providing support to churches and faith communities in Liberia and Pakistan. Bishop Stewart is an alumnus of Millersville University and received an Honorary Doctor of Divinity from the Asian Seminary of Christian Ministries in May 2023.

Lady Jo Anne Stewart

Lady Jo Anne Stewart serves as the First Lady of New Life Resurrection Center and is a vital part of the ministry’s leadership and Christian ministry outreach efforts. She manages official communications for the church and plays a hands-on role in supporting individuals and families through programs such as the Addictions Recovery Ministry (A.R.M.), transitional housing initiatives, and the Bread of Life Food Pantry.

Together, Bishop and Lady Stewart embody a “come as you are” philosophy—welcoming people from all walks of life and fostering an environment where healing, dignity, and spiritual restoration can take place. Their shared vision continues to shape a ministry committed to faith, service, and community transformation.

OUR VISION

Life Recovery Solutions, (LRS) is a 501(3)(c) nonprofit organization formed in the State of Delaware and is a division of New Life Ministries Unlimited.

Our vision is to engage people with a history of extreme poverty, drug and alcohol use disorder, minimal education, criminality, homelessness, and welfare dependency and provide them with the programs and services needed to help them become functioning and contributing members of the community through Christian ministry outreach.

Through the application of basic Bible principles, an environment of accountability and love, training in real-life settings, and active participation, people emerge as highly marketable and motivated candidates for the workforce.

This type of effort enables communities to prosper. The people who once relied on government assistance become taxpayers themselves and are able to contribute to the economic vitality of their communities.

Neighborhoods become safer when idle minds are empowered and employed. Families become stronger and more productive when a renewed sense of purpose is developed. People are more inclined to community involvement when their basic needs are no longer a worry.

OUR MISSIONS

Our mission extends beyond our local community to serve and support people around the world through Christian ministry outreach. Through Spirit-led outreach, we are committed to sharing the Gospel, strengthening churches, and meeting practical needs in communities facing hardship and limited resources.

New Life Ministries Unlimited supports mission efforts in Africa, Pakistan, and Liberia, partnering with local leaders and churches to advance faith, restoration, and community development. These missions focus on teaching God’s Word, encouraging spiritual growth, and providing support that helps individuals and families move toward stability and purpose.

Rooted in biblical principles, our global missions reflect the same heart that guides our local work—love, accountability, compassion, and service. We believe that when faith is put into action, lives are transformed and communities are strengthened through Christian ministry outreach.

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations.” — Matthew 28:19

Our Story

Demonstrated by living our core values: compassion, growth, courage to act, responsibility, belonging, curiosity. You can see them cultivated in every experience for students, families and staff.

Community is everything. It’s who we are and how things get done. Everyone here is motivated by a deep commitment to making sure each child and family feels welcome and included. When everyone feels like they belong, we are stronger and smarter together. We’re a community driven to make the world a better place—starting in our own backyard.

Our Core Values

Learn more about our values and our story as a church by visiting the about us page.

We acknowledge Jesus Christ as the head of our church and fully submit ourselves to His will. In every aspect of our ministry our goal is always to honor and glorify the Lord Jesus Christ.

We believe the Bible is God’s inspired authoritative and trustworthy rule of faith and practice for Christians. Therefore, we submit ourselves to its teaching, commit ourselves to do what it says, and yield our lives to become what Christ desires for us to be.

We believe in the power of prayer. Therefore, the ministries and activities our church will be characterized by a reliance on personal and corporate prayer in all areas of our lives and ministry.

We believe in the Great Commission commanded to us by Jesus Christ and we are committed to reaching unsaved and unchurched people locally, nationally and worldwide. We will use every available Christ-honoring means to pursue, win and disciple the people in our sphere of influence.

We believe God ordained the family to glorify him. We are committed to cultivate an atmosphere which promotes spiritual growth within the family by reaching families with the gospel, discipling them in Christ-like character and teaching each family member how to fulfill their God-given role.
